1936 KING EDWARD VIII 9CT GOLD HALF SOVEREIGN- The coin does not appear to be hallmarked however it is identical to the full sovereign (which has the hallmark) and was obviously produced by the same company (the dies are identical). Unknown mintage, but a nice gap filler for a collector.
