Legend: VICTORIA D:G BRITT.DEF:F:D REVERSE: St George and the Dragon, horse with 'short tail', edge milled. S3866B. DISHL14. This Rare type has a small mintage of just 6,329! One recently sold in Spink auction that had been cleaned and ungraded at £650 hammer + Commission! The Dave Iverson study on Jubilee coinage noted this is a very hard coin to find and rated the variety as R5 (5-10 examples). Almost all examples that are found are in low grade. Graded by NGC as XF45 and an extremely rare coin to locate.
