Description
GREAT BRITAIN (1830-1837) KING WILLIAM IV 1835 GOLD HALF SOVEREIGN. OBVERSE: King William IV facing right. LETTERING: GULIELMUS IIII D:G BRITANNIAR: REX F:D: REVERSE: Crowned Shield and Mantle. Larger size 19.4mm diameter. It is difficult to convery just how spectacular this coin is, the hair is full and detailed, it has original lustre and is very near to uncirculated, other than a few surface scratches to the obverse. This coin is better in hand than the image portrays. The reverse has some minor wear to the high point of the shield, Good Extremely Fine.
