ENGLAND: (1760-1820) King George III 1764 Second Laur head Gold Guinea. Obverse: 2nd portrait of George III facing right. Lettering GEORGIVS III DEI GRATIA. Reverse: Rose Shaped Shield date either side. Lettering M.B.F ET. H.REX. F.D.B.ET.L.D.S.R.I.AT.ET.E.J The Guinea retaining natural lustre has wear to the high points of the hair and some faint hairline scratches in the field under GRATIA (could be graffiti). Rare and highly sought after, we grade the coin at Near Extremely Fine Condition. A Rare Find!
