ENGLAND (1327-77) KING EDWARD III GOLD NOBLE. 4th coinage, Pre-treaty with French title. Value of the Noble was Six Shilling & Eightpence. Mint mark Cross (4). Obverse: King on a Ship holding Sword & Shield with Legend around edge. Reverse: E struck in Centre surrounded by a cruciform design with Legend around edge. S1490. Good Fine Condition with a clear legend and has a more rose patina than the image suggests.
