GREAT BRITAIN: (1952-2022) Queen Elizabeth II1989 'Bank of England' Proof Silver Two Pound 2-Coin Set. Obverse: On both coins is Queen Elizabeth II Third Portrait & Bust facing Right with 'TWO POUNDS' below. Legend: ELIZABETH.II.DEI.GRATIA.REGINA.F.D. Reverse: The Tercentenary (300th Anniversary) of the Declaration of Rights in 1689, two different £2 coins were issued in 1989. The two coins differ only in the detail of their Reverse designs & the word 'BILL' & 'CLAIM' in lettering in Legend on each. Both were designed by John Lobban, and depict the cypher of William and Mary, the House of Commons mace, & stylised representations of St. Edward's Crown and the Crown of Scotland. Edge: Milled.
