Obverse: first laureate and draped bust right, toothed border surrounding both sides, legend commences GEORGIVS DG M BR FR ET HIB REX FD. Reverse: Crowned cruciform shields, garter star at centre, initials of the South Sea Company in alternating angles, date flanking top crown, legend reads BRVN ET L DVX SRIATH ET EL (S.3647; Bull. 1586; ESC. 1176).
