Legend: GULIELMUS IIII D:G BRITANNIAR: REX F:D: Reverse: Crowned Shield and Mantle. Normal size 19.3mm diameter. Original mintage of 160,207. Most coin collectors understand that it is extremely difficult to obtain any Pre-Victoria coin in Mint State, but finding a half sovereign is an extremely rare occurrence. This is because half sovereigns were widely circulated unlike the larger gold currency coins of this era. 1837 Graded by NGC MS63. RARE.
