GREAT BRITAIN: (1952-Present Day) Queen Elizabeth II 2010 London and Belfast, 2011 Edinburgh & Cardiff Gold Proof 1 Pound 4-Coin Set. Obverse: Ian Rank-Broadley Portrait of Elizabeth II facing right, legend; ELIZABETH .II. D.G REG. F.D. DATE. Reverse: London certificate 499- Features the 'Coat of Arms' belonging to the City of London Corporation (The Square Mile) presided over by the Lord Mayor of London. Belfast certificate 0460: Celebrates it's nautical heritage, featuring Belfast's heraldic shield dominated by symbols of sea and a ship sails in argent. 2011 Edinburgh certificate 0129- Pays tribute to Edinburgh's rich history. Featuring a white shield, holding an imposing black castle sitting on a rock, the Coat of Arms, Shield, a coronet alongside eight thistle heads. Cardiff certificate 0442- Two national symbols instantly recognisable Emblem of Wales; the red Dragon and the leek, a sign of patriotism for over 700 years, The Coat of Arms. Each coin weighs 19.61g of 22ct gold, has a diameter of 22.05mm and just 1,000 of this limited presentation, and all certificates within the first 500 issued. (total mintage of each coin 2,500). The coins are unhandled and struck using highly polished dyes. Proof as issued.
