GREAT BRTAIN: (1837-1901) Queen Victoria 1887 Jubilee Head Gold Double Sovereign Rare Type, Broken Die Type 2C/ 3B has a break in the streamer flowing from St. George's helmet. Obverse: Boehm's effigy of Victoria facing left wearing a small Crown with shoulder length veil. Reverse: St George with sword slaying the Dragon, break in the dies of the streamer flowing from St. George's helmet. Rare type. 2C/ 3B (T26). Large date below, Large B.P to the right. Edge: Milled. Graded by PCGS MS63. NB This lot is protected by a hidden reserve, which if not met during the pre-bidding part of the auction will be revealed during the Live auction and offered for sale.
