GREAT BRITAIN: (1837-1901) Queen Victoria Jubilee head 1891 Gold Half Sovereign, low tide and in stunning condition. SCARCE. Obverse: The Jubilee bust of Queen Victoria facing left, legend : VICTORIA DEI GRATIA . No designers initials, low tide. Reverse: Shield surmounted with Crown, legend BRITANNIARUM REGINA FID: DEF: with date either side of the decoration surrounding the shield. Michael Marsh 480/ DISH513 A beautiful lustre to this detailed coin, with great detail and fantastic eye appeal. Whilst there are a few hairlines within the field this has to be most attractive Jubilee head half sovereign we had in the auction that hasn't been 1887. Near Extremely Fine Condition. Hard to find coins with such cabinet toning and a scarce coin.
