The obverse displays the renowned 'Hall of Prayer' for Abundant Harvest of the Temple of Heaven from Beijing. The image is encircled by the inscriptions ' People's Republic of China' written with Chinese characters and the year of issue of the coin. The coin is sealed in a plastic bag (marks are on the bag).
