GREAT BRITAIN: (1910-1936) King George V 1916 Perth Mint Gold Sovereign. Obverse: Head of George V Bare Head Bust facing Left. Legend: GEORGIVS V D.G.BRITT:OMN:REX F.D. IND:IMP: Reverse: St. George and Dragon with Date below exergue line & the letters B.P. to the Right . 'P' above in ground. Edge: Milled. S4001. The has some great detail with some surface scratches to the neck and obverse field, however the edge has many nicks and bumps which highlights the coin may have been in jewellery at some stage. No solder. Scarce.
