IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT AUCTION 27 **PLEASE READ** Most of auction 27 is made up of a large sovereign collection, some of which are proof. The collection was housed in a dansco type sovereign folder and because of this, most of the proof coins have sweated and now exhibit haze. If you were looking to buy a sovereign that you would like to grade yourself this will be a great opportunity. (If you would like any purchases to go straight onto NGC, please do not hesitate to contact us after the auction.) We are official NGC Authorised Dealers. We believe most of the coins are worthy of grading, but we would strongly advise conservation on most. Our seller has agreed to send part of the collection to grade and those coins will be available in a future auctions, however as you can appreciate it's a huge task and expense to grade every coin in the collection. 'Haze'- Has a dappled appearance and is created when a coin has been kept in damp conditions or in a plastic wallet or sleeve where moisture is present. This does not effect the grade it will achieve. Scratches and contact marks alter the grade and the only problem with haze is it can be difficult to determine whether the coin has any minor hairlines. BIDDING/ RESERVES - We have some lots with and without reserves in this auction, so please be sure to check before placing your bid. Reserves are hidden but will be indicated by *** at the end of the description.
