Description
GREAT BRITAIN: (1820-30) King George IV 1825 Bare Head Gold Sovereign. OBVERSE: George IV Bare Head Portrait facing left. Legend lettering: GEORGIUS IV DEI GRATIA with date below bust. REVERSE: In the centre the Crowned Shield. Legend lettering: BRITANNIARUM REX FID: DEF: Edge: Milled. Whilst there is some flattening to the cheek, hair and ear on the obverse the coin has some of it's original lustre. The reverse has seen some light circulation and has picked up a few scratches, however it's a delightful coin in hand and would be a great addition for a sovereign collector looking for a Very Fine example. ****
