GERMANY: (Third Republic) 1935 A German Third Reich Silver 5 Reichmarks (Hindenburg). Obverse: Hindenburg facing right, legend; 1847-1934 Paul Von Hindenburg. Reverse: Eagle divides date, denomination below. The Reichsmark was introduced in 1924 as a permanent replacement for the Paplemark. Inflation had reached it's peak so it was necessary to stabolize the economy. Struck in .900 Silver this was the last year before the introduction of the Nazi party Insignia.
