ENGLAND: (1760-1820) King George III 1793 'Spade' Gold Guinea. OBVERSE: 5th Laur head facing right. Lettering GEORGIVS III DEI GRATIA REVERSE: 'Spade' Shaped Shield with Crown on top, date below. Lettering M.B.F.ET.H.REX.FD.B.ET L D S R I A T ET E. Edge: Milled with chevrons. S3729. The guinea has an attractive lustre and eye appeal. It has some light circulation hairlines to both obverse field and left hand side of the spade shaped shield. An attractive coin in Very Fine or better Condition.
