Description
GREAT BRITAIN: (1837-1901) Queen Victoria Old Head Half Crowns in CGS holders. Obverse: Old head of Victoria facing left, legend; VICTORIA. DEI. GRA. BRITT REG. Reverse: Crowned spade shaped shield in garter with beading. St. George and the Dragon separating the date. The coins have been encapsulated by CGS and say 'Encapsulation' on the slab, so no grade. Given the brightness of the coins it isn't unreasonable to assume the coins have been dipped or cleaned. Both coins have fantastic detail.

High grade possibly cleaned in ungraded CGS holders.
