ENGLAND: (1702-1714) Queen Anne 1711 Gold Guinea. Third Bust. OBVERSE: Head of Queen facing Left. LETTERING: ANNE.DEI.GRATIA REVERSE: Four Crowned Shields & Four Sceptres. LETTERING: MAG.BRI.FR ET.HIB.REG.1711. EDGE: Diagonally Milled. S3574. A fantastic example with notible detail to the hair and eye socket. Minor wear to the shoulder with a few miniscule hairlines.. toothed border that is raised in parts and missing in others which only adds to the interest of this coin. Guineas are beautifully individual unlike the modern coins of today. The reverse portrays sharp detail to shields, legend and centre star. Overall a good very fine example and one you don't see everyday.
