Description
GREAT BRITAIN: (1820-30) King George IV 1825 Bare Head Gold Sovereign. Obverse: George IV Bare Head Portrait facing left. Legend lettering: GEORGIUS IV DEI GRATIA with date below bust. Reverse: In the centre the Crowned Shield. Legend lettering: BRITANNIARUM REX FID: DEF: Edge: Milled. The obverse has some nice detail to the hair and portrait, and a good bold legend. The coin is a little edgy with nicks and knocks but has no trace of solder and no flattening of the milling. The reverse does have a scrape to the outer field of the shield, overall a good very Fine Coin.
Condition
