The Six pence shows four crossed sprigs, representative emblems of the four member kingdoms that were formed in to the United Kingdom: the Tudor rose of England, leek for Wales, thistle for Scotland, and shamrock for Ireland. Above is 'FID DEF' and below is 'SIXPENCE' and the date.
