Reverse: Designed by Benedetto Pistrucci depicts St. George slaying the Dragon with garter and inscription HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE, which has not been used on sovereigns since 1820. The issue celebrates the 200th Anniversary of the first modern day sovereign (1817) and features the original design by Benedetto Pistrucci. The Proof Sovereign has a mintage of 10,500.
