PANAMA (1903-) Republic. 1974 Panama Silver 20 Balboa x 10 coins. Produced by the Franklin Mint in uncirculated with a mintage of 37,000. Obverse features the portrait of Simon Bolivar a legendary Politian and military leader who lead Panama to become a Sovereign state. Reverse: The Coat of Arms of Panama. Legend: REPUBLICA DE PANAMA.20 BALBOAS. (.925) Silver. The 20 Balboa coins were struck between 1971 and 1985 and were one of the largest silver coins of the time. Each consisting of 3.8544 troy ounces of Fine Silver totaling 38.544 ounces.
