Legend: GEORGIUS IIII D:G:BRITANNIAR:REX F:D: Reverse: St. George slaying the Dragon with date below exergue line & the small letters B.P. to the Right. Edge: Milled. (S3800 / MARSH 8). Fine Condition. Rated Scarce in 'The Gold Sovereign Series' Michael A Marsh (revised by Steve Hill).
Condition
Fine Condition with some nicks and wear to the outer rim of the obverse, detail to the face, with wear and contact marks to the laurel wreath and hair. A reddish toning giving the coin a overall good eye appeal.
