EAST CARIBBEAN STATES: (1952-2022) Queen Elizabeth II 2003 (.999) Fine Silver Proof 10 Dollar and displays the first and last ever Royal Mail stamps issued to feature with Concorde. Obverse: Crowned Young head portrait of Elizabeth II facing right, legend; ELIZABETH II EAST CARIBBEAN STATES. Reverse: Features Concorde on it's last flight and legend reading 'THE LAST SCHEDULED FLIGHT OF CONCORDE 24TH OCTOBER 2003'. Presented in leatherette folder with the stamps and signatures, handwritten in ink of three key figures, elementary to Concorde's history. John Cochrane; the test pilot for the first flights of all Concordes manufactured in the UK. Captain Jock Lowe, who holds the record for piloting the most Concorde flights and the face of BBC's 'Tomorrow's World' Raymond Baxter, an RAF pilot and rally driver, and the BBC commentator of the first Concorde flight. 1969-2003. A nice momento of a bygone era.
Condition
The coin is sealed in the envelope and has started to naturally tone particularly to the obverse otherwise as struck.
