ENGLAND: (1685-88) King James II 1686 Full Guinea. Obverse: Second Laurette head facing left. Legend: IACOBVS.II.DEI.GRATIA. Reverse: crowned cruciform shields, sceptres in angles. Date either side of the Crown, MAG. BR. FRA. ET. HIB REX. Any coinage from the reign of King James II is tough to obtain given to his short reign. This attractive guinea, lightly brushed with some signs of circulation but otherwise exhibits great detail and lustre. A great coin to add to any collection and overall in Very Fine Condition
