GREAT BRITAIN:( 1660- 85) Charles II 1684 Gold 5 Guinea. OBVERSE: Second Laur Bust. Round trun. Lettering: CAROLVS II . DEI. GRATIA. REVERSE: Crowned Shields with Sceptres. Lettering MAG. BR. FRA. ET. HIB. REX. 1684 . The Coin has previously been mounted and has seen circulation, however 5 guinea's are collectible in any grade. When you consider that only royalty and high society would of been able to own such a coin, the romance of owning this 17th Century piece of history may just be a tempting prospect!
