Canada 1oz Gold 2004 Maple coin with Diamond Boxed and Certification. In February 1979, the Government of Canada authorised the Royal Canadian Mint to establisha special coin programme and, on September 5th 1979 the Gold Maple Leaf was introduced. This Commemorative uncirculated coin celebrates the 25th Anniversary of the Maple Leaf's entry into the Market. The design of the reverse shows a Canadian maple leaf with inscription 'Canada' at the top. The purity is shown on either side of the leaf while the type of precious metal and the weight appear at the bottom of the coin. The obverse features the effigy of the Queen and the legend 'Elizabeth II' at the top. The norminal value and the date are inscribed at the bottom. Just 500 Coins were struck! Certificate 371.
