Legend: ELIZABETH.II.DEI.GRATIA.REGINA.F:D: REVERSE: St. George armed & sitting on horseback, attacking the dragon with sword and a broken spear upon the ground, and date 1979 designed by Benedetto Pistrucci. This is also the first proof general release sovereign issued by the Royal Mint.
